Most vehicle have diesel engines, all equipped with air/con, radio, usb plugs. Automatic or manual gearboxes.
Why should you book every accommodation or camping in advance?
The number of hotels, lodges and camping sites is still limited in our vast and beautiful country. Distances are sometimes quite important between them and because they can accommodate a limited number of guests (often 10 to 30 only), they are regularly fully booked. Most lands are either private or National Park and you won't be able to camp "wild", just in the middle of nowhere if not organised in advance. Only some very remote areas (Kaokoland) offer this possibility, and a party of two cars is then recommended. By booking your tour in advance, you will ensure that:
