Namibia Self-Drive Tours
Namibia is the perfect country for Self Drive Tours, provided you get proper information and advice before you start your trip. Tar and gravel roads are in very good condition by African standards. Road signs are clearly visible and roads well marked throughout the country. This good infrastructure, together with the country's safety and very good car rental options allows you to discover the natural wonders of Namibia at your own pace. We will help you planning your trip, ensuring the intended itinerary is realistic and pleasant.

Accommodation Options
We offer a large variety of selected accommodations and classify them in three categories; Standard / Superior / De Luxe.
We will book you in a variety of hotels, lodges, rest-camps, guest-farms or even  camping (all camping are grouped in one category only).
Choosing one of the above categories will have a direct impact on the costing of your tour.

The Car Hire Options
4x4 Vehicles: By far, the very best option, for your comfort and safety, giving you access to the most remote places in Southern Africa.
2 / 4 or 6 seater, all equipped with Air Conditioning and Radio Tape.
2x4 Standard Vehicles: They will allow you to visit most of our country... not all.
Comfort on gravel roads is obviously limited. With or without Air Conditioning and Radio Tape, 3/4/5 or 6 seater, one of the affordable ways to travel in Namibia.

Why Book Every Accommodation Or Camping In Advance ?
The number of hotels, lodges and camping sites is still limited in our vast and beautiful country. Distances are sometimes quite important between them and because they can accommodate a limited number of guests (often 10 to 30 only), they are regularly fully booked. Most lands are either private or National Park and you won't be able to camp "wild", just in the middle of nowhere if not organised in advance.
Only some very remote areas (Kaokoland) offer this possibility, and a party of two cars is then recommended.

By booking your tour in advance, you will ensure that:
- Your tour is enjoyable and realistic; you really make the best of your holiday.
- You won't spend precious holiday time organising your holidays on the spot.
- You have a much better control over your spending, knowing what to expect.

Touring Namibia With A Private Driver / Guide?
We specialize in individual self drive tours and luxury fly-in safaris.
Therefore, we do not organise any private guided tours.
We do however offer a limited number of guided group tours (maximum 8 clients per tour), with set itineraries, departure dates and prices.
