Your Car Hire Options In Namibia
With Namibia's very good road conditions (for African standards) a 2x4 vehicle will give you access to most of our country.
However, a 4x4 will always be more comfortable and safer than small sedan vehicles suitable
for town driving.
15% of our roads are tarred roads in very good condition.
80% are graded gravel roads in fair condition.
5% are just tracks where a 4x4 is a must.
Visiting Kaokoland or Bushmanland requires a 4x4 vehicle and a convoy of two cars is recommended. A 4x4 is also necessary to visit the Botswana national parks.
According to your itinerary, lodging and number of people travelling, we will advise you on the most suitable vehicle for your tour.
